Position Summary
Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. Just a stone's throw from downtown, where the city's culture comes to life, we get to experience the best of both worlds: the city and the mountains. Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Our factory is also proud to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.
As a Factory Quality Assurance Technician, you'll assist our microbiological laboratory in the Flagstaff facility with sampling and compositing of finished product to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Ensure traceability of samples to provide the necessary documentation to support microbiological testing. Make an impact on the lives of pets and pet owners nationwide as you transport finished product to the bacteria lab for testing and inspect finished product to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Work Schedule: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
