YOUR ROLE IN THE FAMILY:

 Essential Functions: Project & Process Management
  • Lead and manage improvement and technical projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure projects meet operational goals and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Analyze production performance and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress tracking.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement & Technical Support
  • Support the optimization of manufacturing systems, processes, and workflows across departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize best practices and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for operations and co-packer partners.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and 5S discipline across the plant.
Deputy DDQA Key User Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Deputy DDQA-related activities and user support.
  • Maintain master data integrity and ensure accurate data capture within the DDQA system.
  • Provide training, troubleshooting, and process guidance for system users.
  • Partner with corporate and IT teams to support updates, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor data accuracy, consistency, and reporting within DDQA to ensure compliance and reliability.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all improvement activities comply with internal safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support EHS and Quality teams in maintaining process control and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize process risks.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Launch, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to support new product introductions and technical changes.
  • Communicate project status, performance metrics, and improvement outcomes to leadership.
  • Provide coaching and training to teams on new procedures and process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences, Food Engineering, or a related field, or master’s degree in food sciences or related studies; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.       
  • Proven experience in process improvement and project management.       
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.       
  • Proficient in SAP or equivalent business management systems.       
  • Experience with digital quality systems (e.g., DDQA, MES, ERP).         
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.         
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently.        
  • Solid understanding of production, utilities, and quality processes.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Works in a manufacturing environment
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to: talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, grasp, pick, lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions. The employee must frequently lift and /or move 50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operate production machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach
  • This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
  • Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
