Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Assist Chemist to maintain chemistry and mange additions on Chemline

·         Ability to perform titrations/pH checks independently

·         Assist Chemist with chemical tank changes

·         Ability to work with Chem Technicians to make sure the production is   going smoothly

·         Maintain waste water system required testing for City of Phoenix

·         Assist Chemist with chemical waste pickups and paperwork

·         Able to follow written and verbal instructions

·         True Chem software

Introductory Safety Training on the following:

·         HAZWOPER Certificate

·         Training for chemical waste pick up managing

·         Confined space training

·         Bulk chemical transfers and chemical pumps

·         Training to perform titrations and chemical addition

·         Training how to use TrueChem

·         Training to manage waste water testing

·         Various CHMPR and QCI level documents

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma with 1 year experience in chemistry related field

Physical Requirements:

·         Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

·         Ability to wear PPE as required.

·         Respirator required for certain chemicals
