In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and supplier management for data center equipment Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) across North America. You will act as a foundational leader, transitioning the organization from a fragmented, site-based model to a centralized, best-in-class global category function that drives measurable Operational Expenditure (OpEx) and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) efficiency.

You will join a high-visibility team currently pivoting toward a global category focus, acting as a key partner to our well-established Real Estate and Facilities Engineering groups to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Category Strategy & Execution: Build and execute a multi-year category strategy for data center equipment MRO and service contracts across North America, establishing supplier segmentation and a clear savings roadmap.

  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead competitive sourcing events and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to standardize rate cards, warranties, and escalation terms.

  • Operational Performance Management: Partner with Data Center site leaders to implement preventive maintenance programs and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards that reduce equipment downtime and total lifecycle costs.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management within a Fortune 500 environment, specifically supporting mission-critical operations like data centers or industrial facilities.

  • Advanced expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling and contract negotiation, including the ability to manage complex Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and vendor consolidation, with the executive presence to influence site leaders and technical teams in a complex, multinational environment.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (Certified Professional in Supply Management or similar certification is preferred).

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your experience.

  • Generous paid time off and paid holidays.

  • Flexible work options to support a healthy work–life balance.

  • Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.

  • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within a global leader.
