Job Overview:

The Electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, motors, controls, and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong industrial electrical experience who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, wiring, circuits, motors, panels, and components
  • Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, testing tools, and electrical schematics
  • Perform preventive maintenance, electrical inspections, and equipment calibration
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper function and safety compliance
  • Document repairs, maintenance logs, inspections, and service information
  • Maintain inventory of electrical parts, supplies, and materials
  • Ensure all work meets electrical codes, safety standards, and company requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues quickly to reduce downtime
  • Support production equipment, lighting, controls, power distribution, and facility electrical systems
  • Perform overtime as needed to support production demands

Required Qualifications

  • Technical or trade school training in Electrical Technology (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of electrician experience — industrial or manufacturing environment highly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, NEC codes, wiring methods, and electrical safety
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and ladder logic basics
  • Skilled in using electrical hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work overtime as required

Preferred Experience

  • Journeyman Electrician, Industrial Electrician, or Maintenance Electrician experience
  • Electrical experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial facilities
  • Preventative maintenance program experience
  • Low voltage and high voltage experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50-55/hour
  • Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime available
