Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is looking for a Lot Porter-Driver to join our team for following hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm! 

What You’ll Do:

As a Lot Porter-Driver you will play a crucial part in the customer check-in process by efficiently driving trucks from the customer service area to the service repair garage and, once repaired, returning them to the front of the building for customer retrieval. Your responsibilities will extend beyond truck transportation, encompassing the maintenance of trucks on the lot, ensuring they are clean and visually appealing to potential customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the lot in a clean and marketable condition, conducting weekly inventory checks, and handling local deliveries. As a vital link between the sales department and service/body shop, you will act as a liaison to facilitate seamless communication. Job Duties: 

• Maintaining the trucks on lot clean and looking presentable for potential customers
• Maintaining lot in clean and marketable condition
• Weekly inventory checks, including starting/running vehicles 
• Local deliveries 
• Liaison between sales department and service/body shop
• Performing additional tasks as required by the department 
• Performing minor mechanical repairs as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent required
• Two (2) or more years of driving experience preferred
• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check 

Compensations:

• $16-$20.50/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Full-time position
