IT Technician

Our client is seeking a dependable IT Technician who can work independently, solve problems in the field, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a hands-on position offering a variety of work across desktop support, networking, classroom technology, audio/visual systems, wireless infrastructure, security systems, and other technology deployments throughout the Phoenix metro area.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, displays, and other technology equipment
Support wired and wireless network installations
Assist with the installation, termination, and testing of network cabling as needed
Mount and configure interactive displays, televisions, projectors, and related equipment
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Perform technology upgrades, deployments, and equipment replacements
Document work completed and communicate project status to customers and internal teams
Report directly to customer locations throughout the Phoenix metro area and surrounding communities
Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service at every job site

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in IT support, technology installation, networking, or a related field
Experience troubleshooting Windows computers and common technology issues
Basic understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, switches, wireless connectivity, and internet troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work on ladders when required

Microsoft 365 administration and support
Chromebook deployment and management
Supporting both Chromebook and Windows device environments
Windows imaging and device deployment
Audio/visual systems and conference room technology
Security camera systems
Access control systems
Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Technical support or field service experience
Technology inventory and asset management
Customer-facing field service experience
Experience working independently at customer locations
