YOUR ROLE IN THE FAMILY:

• Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions
• Supervise Facility/Utility/Sanitation team members
• Coordinate and Supervise cleaning of production equipment with dry ice & ultrasonic equipment in alignment with his manager and maintenance manager
• Perform and submit 30,60,90 and annual performance reviews with his direct reports and submit paperwork to his manager on time
• Work very close with his manager in case disciplinary actions are required about members that report to Supervisor
• Perform weekly 1:1 with his direct reports and inform manager about the outcome
• Provide daily planned activities to manager
• Provide daily completed and performed work to manager
• Assign/approve and confirm performed work is completed in SAP
• Submit Purchase Requests in alignment with manager
• Inspects building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations; recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical and facility design modifications in alignment with manager
• Orders parts and materials as necessary in alignment with manager
• If requested by Manager approve work hours in SAP
• Coordinates and schedule vendors for facility/utility and sanitation activities in alignment with manager
• Oversee performed work from vendors for facility/utility and sanitation activities in alignment with manager
• Oversee Landscaping, landscape contractors, and outside cleanliness and organization of facility property in alignment with manager
• Support Manager for facility/utility & sanitation equipment audits and record-taking policies (ex: hygiene reports, trainings)
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
• Decide on reward and promotion based on performance in alignment with manager
• Train new employees
• Follows all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for area of responsibility
• Effectively responds to directions during emergencies by understanding emergency procedures, equipment, and systems as necessary; Implements contingency plan to the level required (ex: Fire prevention, MBI)
• Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste (ex: SDS binder)
• Other duties assigned by management

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN OUR FAMILY?

• 2-3 years of related experience preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner
• Ability to read and understand complex building blueprints and drawings
• Ability to supervise and delegate Facility/Utility & Sanitation team
• Able to work independently as well as working within a team
• Ability to create schedules for employees to cover 24/7 operations
• Be available for emergency calls on weekends or late night to direct employees if necessary
• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Takes initiative; proactive instead of reactive
• Adapts to everchanging priorities, situations, and workflow
• Supervise facility & building functions including plumbing, roofing, landscaping, and the fire protection system
• Able to operate and navigate high steam pressure equipment
• Able to operate and navigate Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Equipment
• Able to operate and navigate Chiller Equipment
• Able to operate and navigate Well house Equipment
• Able to operate and navigate BMS system

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Works in a manufacturing environment
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to: talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, grasp, pick, lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions. The employee must frequently lift and /or move 50 pounds. The employee is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operate production machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach
  • This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
  • Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices
