IT Manager
Salary

Major Functions
Provides leadership and oversight for Sun Tran’s IT operations while delivering exceptional technical support to internal customers. Responsibilities include:
- • Administering help desk operations and providing technical support to end users.
- • Installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting workstations, software applications, specialized equipment, and proprietary platform hardware.
- • Developing and implementing technology goals, policies, standards and system improvements.
- • Managing network administration firewalls, core infrastructure, data backups, disaster recovery, and communications systems in coordination with City IT.
- • Leading technology projects, evaluating system performance, and planning system performance and planning system upgrades and replacements.
- • Preparing technical specifications, procuring IT equipment and software and network asset inventories.
- • Developing and maintaining SOPs, technical documentation and end-user support materials.
- • Administering security badge systems, building access control, and specialized operational software.
- • Performing other related duties as assigned.
