Personal Line Inspector - Tucson Arizona

We are looking for multiple vendors to complete field inspections in your area as independent contractors. If approved, you will be assigned insurance underwriting inspections through our cloud based management system for which you will provide on-site physical inspections. You will perform tasks such as measuring properties and creating diagrams, identifying and reporting construction features, photographing and identifying hazards on the premises, verifying protection systems and providing detailed information via online forms.

To be considered you must have experience performing commercial inspections as an independent contractor, have reliable transportation, a digital camera or camera equipped smart phone, a camera pole, high speed internet access with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, and a measuring device (wheel, tape, or laser). 

All Approved Vendors are independent contractors who are paid per inspection. Fees vary depending on what is required – check with your Preferred Reports representative for specifics. Fees are paid weekly and as an independent contractor you are responsible for paying all applicable taxes. 

• Travel to various locations for on-site inspections
• Measuring structures and creating a diagram
• Identifying building construction type and features
• Photographing and identifying hazards
• Verifying property fire protection
• Providing detailed information via completing online forms 

• Technology: Possess a Windows computer and be able to access our inspections platform (LC360), navigate web browsers such as Bing, Chrome, and/or Firefox using search engines and map tools to correctly obtain information for the risk. Proficient with email, texting, and smart phone use.
• Communication skills: Able to phone and speak with the insured to verify, request, or obtain information pertaining to the inspection.
