Summary
This position is responsible for the operations and activities of the dispatch control room, facilities and the Service Department.

Essential Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Responsible for answering phone callsReceive customer / salesman service orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining dispatch operations boards, scheduling jobs and posting the schedule.
  • Responsible for posting the dispatch schedule daily.
  • Assist with the sizing of equipment, move in / out rates, and per list price policy.
  • Responsible for daily tasks such as shippers, work tickets, scheduling, mileage reports and entering payroll.
  • Create freight calculators and review for accuracy.
  • Responsible for extending tickets ensuring the hours and correct price was quoted for the job.
  • Responsible for entering payroll and accuracy of data entry.
  • Track and schedule equipment for long term / future jobs.
  • Collect, track and submit squawks to the Service Department for repairs.
  • Reviews tickets for accuracy, completeness and signature. 
  • Issue credit memos and POs as needed, submitting to Branch Manager for approval.
  • Assist in after hour / emergency calls and reschedule as needed.
  • Assist in preparing lease documents per Company policy.
  • Follow company policy for all COD’s
  • Assist the Branch Operations Manager in scheduling down time of equipment for repair.
  • Schedule annual inspections for mobile cranes and concrete pumps.
  • Responsible for submitting documentation for crane and pump permits.
  • Track and inventory all assets including spreader bars, boom, load blocks, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Safety
  • Play an active role in the development of the safety culture, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
  • Identify and report safety concerns.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform assigned duties in a safe manner.

Reports to
The Operations Manager and receive direction from all Corporate Officers.
