Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Security will help develop, administer, and maintain the program’s security policies and procedures in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG). 

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate: 

• Administering security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for:  personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified materials.
• Process requests for personnel clearances for access to classified information.
• Draft, route, submit and track Special Access Program (SAP) Program Access Request (PAR)s.
• Conduct program briefings/indoctrinations and debriefings.
• Develop and administer security procedures involving personnel security actions; reporting required information to the customer including adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel.
• Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles. 
• Support the testing, shipment, and storage of classified materials. 
• Implement a media control program in accordance with JSIG requirements. 
• Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods. 
• Supports the establishment, accreditation, and maintenance of a secure facility in accordance with (IAW) ICD 705. 
• Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections. 
• Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s). 
• Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of Cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide other security related administrative duties, as required.
• This position may require travel on company business.

Qualifications You Must Have:  

• Active and In-Scope Top Secret security clearance - (Please note the current, final Top-Secret clearance must have an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment – confirmed prior to interview)
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant security experience OR absence of a degree 4 years of relevant experience. 
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.  

Qualification We Value:  

• Previous experience as a security professional supporting in an Industrial Security role
• Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, and/or ICD 705.  
• Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.  
• Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)

 

 

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
