The Opportunity

As an Administrative Support Associate you will support Auto and Property Claims Operations and perform administrative activities for projects and programs.

Within defined guidelines and framework, provides routine support services to assigned unit and performs administrative activities for projects and programs.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio and Phoenix, AZ. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Performs routine administrative activities to include ordering supplies, making copies and maintaining, sorting and filing records.

  • Prepares standard paperwork such as correspondence, forms, bills, statements, receipts or other documents using established procedures.

  • Ensures office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

  • Protects operations by maintaining and keeping confidential information confidential.

  • Uses all Microsoft Office Products, such as, Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, and Outlook, to service the organization with databases, meeting recordings, audits, and any correspondence.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • High School Diploma OR General Equivalency Diploma.

  • Up to 1 year of related experience in clerical or administrative support work.

  • Proven ability to handle critical and confidential materials/ information.

  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, like Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of office procedures such as accounting, scheduling, filling, sorting.

  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and balance multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Familiar with standard business concepts, practices and procedures within administrative support.

  • Experience providing administrative support to P&C claims operations.

  • Excel certification

  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $ 43,680.00 - $ 59,980.00.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
