We are Nestlé. The Good food, Good life company. We believe in the power of food to enhance lives.
Good food nourishes and delights the senses. It helps pets to thrive, children to grow healthily and parents to age gracefully. It helps all of us to live life to the fullest. Good food also respects our planet and protects resources for future generations.
But times are changing fast. And we know that what’s good today won’t be good enough tomorrow. Consider the challenge of satisfying the needs of 10 billion people by 2050 in a responsible and sustainable way. This will demand innovation and change.
At Nestlé, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with food, drink and nutritional health solutions. That way we can enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future for all.
Today, our business has around 275,000 employees, more than 2,000 brands and a presence in 188 countries.
At Nestlé we know we can only achieve long term success by creating value for society and our shareholders. Which is why Creating Shared Value is integral to the way we do business. It's also why we have solid Corporate Business Principles that guide our actions and behaviors.
With these standards at our core, we're creating nutritious, enjoyable and sustainable products. We're helping to build healthier, more resilient communities. And we're doing it all with integrity and respect for people and our planet.
In these changing times, we're working to build a positive future. A future for the farmers and people we work with, the individuals who enjoy our products - and the natural environment on which we all depend.
Our purpose is to unlock the power of food to enhance quality of life for everyone, today and for generations to come.
Driven by this purpose, we focus our energy and resources where unlocking the power of food can make the greatest difference to the lives of people and pets, protect and enhance the environment, and generate significant value for our shareholders and other stakeholders alike.
At Nestlé, respect has a special and powerful meaning. It has a huge impact on the way we work and run our business.
Our values are rooted in respect. A respect for ourselves. For others. For diversity. And for the generations who will follow in our footsteps.
Setting out our values is crucial - but living by them makes the difference. We serve with passion, build for the long term, and are inspired to innovate. We always strive to do better, so we can grow and succeed together.
