As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Pay Rate: $25.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity or security-related hazards within the facility and report findings according to company procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement when necessary to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
