Job Summary: BENEFITS: Entry-level salary starts at 19.990  per hour JOB SUMMARY: This position works under close supervision from a higher authority. This position will perform technical assistance to the Correctional Officer II’s and Security Staff. The position will inspect the inmate’s incoming/outgoing mail and parcels, checking for contraband; confiscates and controls any found contraband. Maintains property accounts and records location of property; release property to authorized units and individuals; inform employees receiving property of responsibility and liability. The position will also monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees and visitors from the complex.
